Reclamation Services
We are an EPA - certified Refrigerant Reclaimer. This designation allows us to take refrigerants that have been recovered from existing systems, and reclaim them for use by the industry. By the reclamation process, we remove the oil, water and other contaminants, and bring the refrigerants to the specifications required by the industry and the EPA. Although not required to do so, we use an independent, third-party laboratory to test our reclaimed refrigerants to ensure they meet all industry and EPA specifications. After we receive that confirmation, we then package those refrigerants into various sizes of disposable and refillable cylinders. The refrigerant commonly referred to as R-22 is the most widely used refrigerant in the world, due to its outstanding performance characteristics. Because of potential ozone depleting characteristics of R-22, however, international protocols and EPA regulation have mandated a reduction in the manufacturing and importing of R-22. Commercial/industrial equipment utilizing R-22 was made through the end of 2009, and residential equipment is still being made, creating an extremely large installed base of equipment that will need to be serviced in the future, and thereby creating a long-term demand for the product. The recovery and reclamation process aims to fill the void between the demand for R-22 and available supply. We also reclaim and repackage other refrigerants, including those that have been out of production since the early 90’s, as there is still equipment in service that use those refrigerants. Field Recovery Services For larger commercial / industrial equipment, we provide field recovery and other refrigerant service work on-site. We believe our technical staff is as knowledgeable as any in the industry. Their field experience allows us to tackle any situation. Our technicians maintain all EPA and industry certifications, including the TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential (issued by the Transportation Safety Administration), and participate in safety training programs offered by the Houston Area Safety Council. We provide the equipment necessary to do the job. Field recovery units, storage tanks, and other types of equipment are all available. We can perform all types of refrigerant service work. Examples of services we provide include high-speed refrigerant recovery, system evacuation and recharge, removal of non-condensable gases, system decontamination and flushing, and chiller dehydration. We provide firm quotes within 24 hours of request. We perform all field service work to EPA and industry specifications. We are fully insured. After the job is complete, we provide a detailed Service Report that describes the work we performed, the refrigerant type and quantity, and any of our equipment that remained on the job. We travel wherever the job requires, primarily serving the four state area of Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arkansas. Our technicians are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. |
